A documentary I made about the airport that, for the early days of flight, was the most important airport in the world. Celebrities from Fidel Castro to Frank Sinatra passed through, hanging with locals in Gander, Newfoundland. Later, an important destination for people wanting to defect from the Soviet Bloc in the 1980s.
